Unemployment Compensation
When an employee is terminated, he or she is usually entitled to receive unemployment compensation benefits. But sometimes employees apply for and receive benefits even though they do not qualify. Our employment lawyers represent employers in the multi-level appeal process before the Employment Security Appeals Division of the Connecticut Labor Department, and, if necessary in the state courts. Alternatively, for those employers who wish to represent themselves at the Appeals Division, we are available to provide advice and counsel.
