Provider Sponsored Organizations; Integrated Delivery Systems

Hospitals, physicians, and other entities often seek collaborations to promote the cost-effective and efficient delivery of health care.  This often involves the formation of integrated delivery systems or provider sponsored organizations that coordinate care delivery and contract with third party payors.  Our Health Care attorneys have worked with hospitals, physicians, and others to establish such entities.  We organized the only statewide Medicaid managed care provider organization.  We have structured managed care vehicles, including provider-sponsored preferred provider organizations (PPOs), specialty provider networks, independent practice associations (IPAs), physician hospital organizations (PHOs), and management services organizations (MSOs).  We have successfully established contractual arrangements between many such organizations and third party payors.  Our attorneys construct models compliant with all applicable legal requirements that can simultaneously operate as effective business entities.
